This unique looking solar bonsai tree is a nice art peace to say the least. And its very functional. Capable of charging your gadgets in style. Plus Each module constituting the Electree can rotate freely with respect to each other, allowing you to create an unlimited number of shapes with the solar bonsaï.
The tree shape gives an efficient means to capture solar rays. 27 solar panels are installed on the tip of branches and the energy is stored in a 13 300 mAh battery (An Iphone has 1 500 mAh for comparison) located under the panel of the bonsai. Within 35 hours, the battery will be fully charged and you can begin to charge your cell phones, MP3 players through a USB connection..After initial charge it only takes a few hours to reach full capacity.
Place the Electree inside, ideally placed close to a window to capture a maximum amount of solar energy throughout the day.
Preorder through a french company called Mister Ecologie and One Development and Consulting at Ulule.com If 400 are oredred before October 15, 2011 then you will have it by Christmas. It is $400 US dollars though! I think its worth it just for being a beautiful artistic design!

I can see it a little addicting twirling this phone around your finger. There is a model that spins around your finger pictured here. Another model is of the crank variety.
Well now you will have no excuse to have a dead cell phone battery. I wonder how quickly it charges?

These cool lanterns are more than just cute. These Eco Twinkle lights are actual pencil sharpeners. Well you don’t have to sharpen a pencil. You can just crank it!
Apparently, pencil sharpeners and human powered generators have the same mechanical twist structures. The designer has combined the two inventions to make a dual function.
There is not telling how long the light lasts. But for a lot of tasks in the dark yard, attic, or basement you only need the light for a few minutes.

This little invention is not out yet, but its a good idea. It will charge your gadgets outdoors while you are at the picnic, beach, campsite or outdoor concert. The solar stake goes into the soft ground or sand. It will be very handy. How many times have you gone somewhere and forgotten too charge up?
I wonder it will be effiecient and grabbing solar energy and feeding your gadgets. I know batteries are getting better and gadgets are using less energy but I don’t think it might work.
