Most of their fashions are made of organic cotton, alpaca, silk, merino wool, and tencel. They work with environmentally-friendly dyes too. Garments are typically made using one of three carefully selected methods: hand-knit with needles, hand-held knitting looms and hand-woven looms.

Each garment is hand-knit entirely by an individual as part of a small knitting group in their community, not in a factory. They also support and preserve fair trade wages and artisan cooperatives.

Indigenous also utilizes green energy to offset their carbon footprint, offers employee carpools and employee incentives to buy hybrid vehicles, and formed Green Steps-a program to offset the carbon footprint of trade shows.

They are made in countries such as Peru and Guatemala. Indigenous is more than just an organic clothing company!!

Cool looking belts made from recycled bike inner tubes. Very cool for all you bikers to display your eco friendliness.

The entrepreneur from Australia wanted a way to put all those discarded inner tubes to good use and did he find a way! Each belt is unique as they come from different inner tube manufacturers. They are hand crafted too. The only problem I see is that they are $45!
