This site is dedicated to companies and people making a difference in the world with environmentally friendly products that have style. For a long time these eco products have tended to be very basic or frugal in nature. In other words they tended to be very “hippy”. For the most part the hippies who came out of the American 1960s were very anti-consumerism. They were right in that we should not be wasteful and we should thank them for starting the environmental movement. But the economies of the future must be sustainable for the health of the planet and at the same time create jobs, comfort, enjoyment and affluence with style.
Recently many new companies and well established companies are designing and producing eco products that leave less of an impact on our earth while at the same time looking fashionably good. There should also be a no difference in the quality of a product from the eco and the non eco product.
Currently in most cases the eco product does cost more but you cannot really put a price tag on keeping a sustainable planet. Be one of the first pioneers of the green consumer revolution. Your consumption habits will have an impact. You can make a difference.
