Celebrity Items to go on online Green Auction
Charitybuzz is holding its 6th annual Chevy Chase Green Auction online. Celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Dustin Hoffman, Stephen Colbert, Dave Mathews Band, and Regis Philbin have teamed up to bring these items to the auction. The proceeds benefit The GREEN Community Schools, who strive to create model GREEN schools and promote sustainability.
Some of the items what will be auctioned off include:
1) Meet Oprah Backstage at her talk show for a greet/photo opportunity.
2) Spend a day in the studio with Howard Stern and this cast.
3) Meet actor Chevy Chase of the current NBC hit “Community” and 1980’s flicks.
4) 4 tickets and pre-show passes to the Jimmy Buffet Concert of your choice.
5) Spend a day on the set with actor Dustin Hoffman.

The Green Community Schools mission promotes enviromentally aware schools and sustainability. It has pilot programs in Chicago and Detroit where they are creating model schools that are stronger, safer and healthier places of learning. Their initiative will transform school buildings into centers for green development.
The founder is Jayni Chase, wife of actor Chevy Chase. She has over 20 years of experience in green education and environmental community action.
