Modern lamps made frome e-waste

These lamps are made by molding crushed electronic plastic waste into a new plastic. The base is even made from recycled aluminum beer cans. The lamps color resemble marble don’t they?
Made by Rodrigo Alonso’s design studio in Santiago,Chile.

These lamps are really cool, very contemporary design. We will definitely check out the NewLight website. A friend of ours makes place mats and coasters from recycled vinyl flooring and we have also seen jewellry made from recycled plastic electronic components, good to see companies finally recycling and creating beautiful home decor!
Thanks for the post
P.S. We write about recycling, reducing and reusing plastics at our family blog;

If you think anything as “waste” or “garbage”, that means you reject the things. But The theory/idea of waste management says that waste can be resources. The evidence is in front of you. We all should manage the wastages.

From paper to plastic and now even old electronic gadgets, recycling can be done to help us minimize our problems with climate change and waste management. Even though others look st trash as dirty or worthless, there are still those who make an effort in turning them into something useful once again.
