There is not a small solar panel in the world that has made up for the energy it took to make it. Call it convenient, sure - you don’t need to wire your mailbox up! But don’t call it a product that “alleviates the negative impact on our Earth”. I can guarantee you reflective tape numbers took less energy to make, and will last longer to boot.
