Well, I DO like plastic disposable shopping bags! Not because I want to pollute the environment, but because there are now types made of potatoes or corn. They look more or less like regular plastic, but they decompose. After shopping, I reuse them as bag for the waste bin, so I don’t have to buy plastic for that anymore.

Those reusable totes are so cute and colorful. I would love to go grocery shopping with those in hand and at $7 a bag, not too shabby! I’ve seen a lot of designer shopping bags going for much much more.

It may not be easy to encourage people to properly dispose of their trash - may it be papers, plastic or electronic gadgets. Recycling waste is something that we should try to do in a regular basis to avoid clutter in our homes and to be able to educate others regarding proper waste disposal. With the right information, we can surely reduce our problems with waste and become good examples to others and stop being wasteful. There are so many things that we can do with paper and other related products - they can be shredded, reused or recycled. We have to try minimizing the use of plastic bags since these are non-biodegradable and they do great damage to the environment.
