New Coolerado air conditioners use 1/10 the power!

coolerado air conditioning unitWe are going to go through another tough summer and many of us have to use inefficient power hogging air conditioners that give us expensive utility bills.

Well there is finally a company that is making green air conditioners. Coolerado offers a revolutionary, solar way to cool the world — utilizing 1/10 the energy used by conventional air conditioning systems.

At peak times the summer, 1/3 of all power goes to air conditioning. Simple green and conservation efforts won’t put a dent into this consumption. Bigger solutions must be advanced. This is where Coolerado comes in.

Widespread introduction of Coolerado technology can have a huge impact on electric demand and ease the burden on the utility grid. Especially if it is adopted by governments big and small, in addition to home owners.

Coolerado technology can be used in all types of buildings from commercial to private homes. Think of the savings for construction, entertainment, government, retail, casinos, hospitals, gyms… Everyone can save on energy and the environment wins!

Coolerado air conditioners utilize a revolutionary cooling process called the M-Cycle that uses water to cool air without adding humidity to the air that enters the building. The M-Cycle does not use chemical refrigerants and creates a healthier, more comfortable, living environment by providing continuous fresh air as an integral part of the cooling process.

Even though a small amount of water is used by the Coolerado air conditioner, regional water use remains constant because far less water is needed to produce energy at the power plant. Coolerado uses water to make cold air, but it uses no more water than an air conditioning unit doing the same job would use.

The City of Denver is getting into the act to cut energy costs, create green collar jobs, and stay net water zero. For example, a 50,000 watt air conditioner was replaced with a 5,000 watt Coolerado air conditioning system on a Denver library. 1/10 of the power usually powers a small home, not a whole library!

Coolerado air conditioners are green, using no chemical refrigerants, and reduce greenhouse gases tenfold compared to traditional systems. Coolerado also creates a healthier, more comfortable, living environment by providing continuous fresh air as an integral part of the cooling process.

My wife and I are ready to get a new AC unit and this one looks great, our current system is about 20 years old and we have been told there are AC units up to 50% more efficient now! We will definitely consider the Coolerado AC unit for our upgrade.

That might work cool but doesn’t look that much cool. Seems like a machine of 80’s

  6. Urban says:

A low-power AC is great! Not sure about the “coolerado” name though…a little cheesy. They get a pass though if they made an AC that runs on 1/10th the power.

  7. Niki says:

Wow, I really need something like this since electricity bill is the highest in the country where I live!

  8. david says:

Ugly and a dumb name, those points sure don’t help sell it. Seems like we’re moving backwards with this even if it is efficient. If it works, I would rather wait for some competition to come in that makes something you actually want setting on your property. How many trees will be cut down to hide this ugly thing?

This sort of shows why we need art & design taught in schools I guess.

A geothermal system blows this out of the water for the price. Not to mention a geothermal system qualifies for tax credits.
