Urban ATV runs on solar power and made in the USA

A car that actually runs on solar power is about to go into production. Called the Solar Bug, it seats 2 people with one in the front and one in the back. Its built on an All Terrain (ATV) chassis. You can plug it in for a 6 hour charge and it will transport you and your buddy 60 miles at 60 cents total cost! On a solar charge alone you will go 10-20 miles for free!
The Solar Bug has a top speed of 35 MPH. It features roll bar protection, seat belts, regenerative breaking, fiberglass panels with a weight of 900 pounds and a price tag around $15,000. The green cars will be handmade in Bozeman, Montana.

The idea is great and, keeping in mind the growing prices on both gas and oil, such a car would be a savior. Only thing that I don’t understand is why it should have looked this way… why couldn’t they find any worthy designer for such a concept… and I wonder if it is possible to put any luggage into it…

That is a cool looks pretty cool. I like that they are thinking up stuff like this. Maybe a car with more power could be made just like this one that could be put into production.

Home solar panels aid in the solar power energy that can reduce or evne replace the use of other electricity options.

the cost of Solar Cells for Solar Energy utilization has been decreasing over the past years. pretty soon, solar energy would be a more viable alternative than fossil fuels,-

great stuff, i think that these could make a big splash in big cities. they could replace a lot of bigger bulkier cars.
