The first eco friendly duct tape

A duct tape that is completely biodegradable. It degrades back into organic material within 15 years. It’s made of 100% recycled material, which means no trees where killed to make this eco duct tape!
The tape begins to degrade after 1 year which is the same as conventional tape. Remember that duct tape is made for temporary repairs anyways.
The company who produces it, Tape Brothers, also contributes 5% of the cost towards planting trees in the U.S.

this is a great idea! I always wondered what happened to duct tape after its been disposed of. Now I can choose one that’s meant to degrade after use.

This is seriously a great idea - definitely a product that inherently SHOULD be biodegradable. I love it!
A little off the subject, but falls within the same idea…a few recent college grads have developed an eco-friendly biodegradable insulation material called Greensulate…pretty amazing stuff.

This has been a good product it seems which repairs temporary failures. We can opt for the more producing products by implanting the trees in US.

This is a great idea as long as you remember the degrading bit.For stuff like this and other green products I trawl websites looking for discount codes and discount vouchers for products. These often get posted to encourage you to buy new items on the market. You then get them at a discount and you also get to buy something you might not have thought about or seen otherwise.Look out for voucher codes at the numerous sites that offer them for all sorts of stuff, green and otherwise.

think that in their marketing minds, if they’ve gotten you to their site, they are happy. To them, why take the time to remove or flag items if they have the potential to bring you to their online store, where you might find a replacement for the out-of-stock item.

What a cool invention! Why didn’t I think of that. It is a little costly and probably not great for everyday use but it is a step in the right direction. Nice find!

Well, that should be a great way to save some electricity. However, I don’t think that you will be able to use it fully indoors though. But I do agree if you’re so into outdoor adventure, you will definitely have more use for it.

THIS IS ANOTHER GREENWASHING SCAM
Please read up and understand the dangers behind the claim of labeling a product as biodegradable when is it actually NOT. This product is using plastic with OXO and Photo Degrading polymer additives. There is nothing BIO about the tape at all. Instead of supporting true Bio Plastics which are derived from renewable plant sources, the plastic companies are simply adding metalic salts and other chemicals to the same old plastics that are already out there. These “additives” merely fragmenting the plastics into tiny pieces which are worse for the environment than before. There is legislation which will soon ban Oxo and Photo degradable additives, but for now the message is more often than not mixed in with the word BIO degradable. Which this product IS NOT.
Read up on it please and dont support cheap greenwashing.
