Eco Organic Clothing by Artifex
Artifex Shirts is a recent startup t-shirt company founded by two brothers, Tim and Chris Reagen. All their clothing is 100% organic cotton.
Artifex sells womens and mens hoodies, polos, and t-shirts.
Through organic cotton, billions of pounds of pesticides can be diminished. Regular cotton uses the 4th most fertilizers and 3rd most pesticides out of any crop! This is unneeded! Plus organic cotton does feel better than conventional cotton.
Artifex shirts also donates $3 from every shirt to help construct a windmill in St. Francis, North Dakota. The Bonnet Wind Farm there will be completed of late 2008 and million watts of electricity.

Artifex clothing is also produced in a sweatshop-free environment. That means no forced labor, prison labor, child labor, or unhealthy and unsafe conditions.

Hey just stopping by to get my dose of green info. Always good stuff here! Love it. I know I have mentioned this site before but I think they are pretty cutting edge so I wanted to share this page: http://www.earthlab.com/articles/EarthsVitalSigns.aspx.
I was hoping that someone could drop me a link of other reports that might tell us about how much time is left before we can’t fix global warming? EarthLab.com has a pretty could article here but I want some other opinions. Man just think how the bad will be if we don’t prevent this. EarthLab has quite a few tips on how to lower your impact, here is a spot where they list what their readers recommend: http://www.earthlab.com/life/tips.aspx.
Thanks a lot for all your info and drop me a link if you guys see anything on these subjects.

Love the windmills! I know this is totally off-topic, but it reminds me of the windmills you see when driving to Palm Springs. Just rows and rows of windmills! Love it!

Those shirts are pretty good looking. I assume they are using wind power for their factories? Or they will be in the future?

That shirt reminds me of something you would see at Threadless.com, except they don’t offer green shirts (although they do take coupons =)).

A very cool looking shirt indeed. I love this whole eco movement, and putting our money into eco products is one way of changing the industry. I for one have vowed to never buy new clothing again unless it is organic cotton. When people start making changes, we can do the a great service for the environment. Thanks for the t-shirt info, the cause is well worth it. =)

I love the fact that they are donating to a VERY SPECIFIC cause. Many companies also donate, but one never knows exactly where the money goes or how much. I like that they were quite specific.
Cool tees, too.

Thanks for creating exposure for an obviously worthy company. More need to do their part to stop the use of pesticides.
