Wine glasses made from car windshield glass

Unique wine glasses made of recycled car windshield glass. Made by hand as well in Columbia. The glass appears thick and sturdy. Sold as a set of 2 for only $22 from UncommonGoods.

Not a wine drinker? They also have beer glasses too! Both are dishwasher safe.

It’s a pity the ‘eco-friendly’ or ‘green’ tag seems to double the price of a good.

Yes its pricy! Come to think of it…
Hey in a few years Walmart will have all green goods. Well maybe 10 years!

But hey, its a good way to make use of stuffs from the junk. There are lots of cars in the junk yard out there and I guess those parts like the windshield could still be worth reselling in another form of product.

Creative… I like the idea of using recycled glass!
The wine glasses look pretty nice as well.. definitely something I would consider giving as a gift to friends or family.

Its very interesting to know that this glasses are made from car windshield glass. These glasses still retain a slightly green tint from the actual windshield glass. Handmade in Colombia, they make an excellent conversation piece or gift.
