I completely went through the Phoenix Motorcars website when I initially read this post to see if it's for real and I have to say, it is. Although I am in agreement w/ the previous poster as far a the push for using Hybrid cars (probably because of his/her lack of belief that this electric car actually has power), but I am in disagreement with how one would run out of electricity. There are 2 realistic patented products out there that would elevate efficiency. One is a wind-powered generator that can be mounted on the roof of the car. Since it's clearance is only 35-40" max, it wouldn't have a problem going through underpasses. The other is using solar-powered tiles to line the roof above the cabin. Although it would take longer to re-generate the cells of the battery, it would be lighter and would only use up to 4-6" of height on clearance so it wouldn't be an issue as well. Imagine continuous energy reserves to save up for evening use? That would be something, huh? Of course you need a back-up energy supply (like a specialized plug in the garage), but this is something not only real, but could potentially be part of our exciting future of going green in every facet of business and personal sectors.

I don't know if I would want to be choosing an electric car over a hybrid. Well, though both cars are definitely better than our regular cars, there are still huge differences. See I always sort of drive to isolated places and I don't think I want to run out of electricity in a village where there are no electricity. Well, in the case of Hybrid, I can always carry around a gallon or extra.

This is a very good way to protect the environment. As it is fully electric, it won't pollute the environment. It is the future of mobile.
