Enertia- The Green Electric Motorcycle

This is the first fully street-legal production electric motorcycle line by Brammo available at www.enertiabike.com. This is not a hybrid here as it relies on no fossil fuels and it will reduce emission by 92%!
Nearly silent this bike will give you a range of 50 miles and a top speed of 50 mph. It can zip for 0-30 mph in 3.3 seconds. The batteries reach an 80 percent charge in 2 hours and are fully charged in three all from a regular electrical outlet. Charging your laptop takes longer!
The Enertia’s power ratings (12-25 horsepower) make it comparable to the gas powered Kawasaki Ninja 250 in terms of horsepower. Its easy to drive judging by product reviews. You can use it in warm climates, reasonable commutes and short errands.
www.enertiabike.com is taking online orders for delivery in 2008. The standard model for $11,995 and a limited edition model for $14,995. Few options on the market can compete with this green efficient transport solution…

I would love to have a motorbike, I just worry about the safety aspect. If a car crashes into you, you’ll probably die.
