Often recycled furniture or wood end up being more environmentally harmful if that is your angle at looking at things (shipping x2, stripping, etc). Better to buy something made from someone local using local woods, but I think most the green stuff is a bunch of crap anyways. What it does offer is wood age with much character, that would take much time and a masterful eye to imitate. The bed looks nice but I want that bedroom.
