Stylish contemporary wood furniture from sustainable sources
A brand new eco friendly company, Environment-Furniture Inc, from Los Angeles has a new line of contemporary wood furniture with an organic quality. It is minimal, rustic, and environmentally responsible.
The Peroba Collection is made of 100 year-old reclaimed wood from Parana, Brazil and includes recycled woods. The wood is claimed from dense inner cites, small rural towns, farmlands and rainforests, providing true diversity in both appearance and texture. Also the wood has been weathered naturally to achieve a look that no manufactured wood stain can replicate.
Too bad you cannot order online yet, but the company has a nice PDF brochure. Its better than their website! They have a few galleries, and wholesale/trade locations in the United States…
Checkout the recyclable wood bed, computer desk, and coffee table.

Wish I had a room like that.
With that view and that killer bed, it would be rocking!
This is officially my dream home.

Its actually great that using sustainable sources are used to make furniture. This way we can save our resources.
All these resources can be recycled too.

The furniture looks wonderful. But the only problem is that such eco friendly furniture tends to be on the higher side of cost. Understandably, this makes it harder for the people to actually purchase such furniture.

The furniture is beautiful, nonetheless…

This is awesome. Wonder if they have office furniture in the same design theme. Will have to check the brochure.

haven’t read all the comments, so sorry if this has already been said. Often recycled furniture or wood end up being more environmentally harmful if that is your angle at looking at things (shiping x2, stripping, etc). Better to buy something made from someone local using local woods, but I think most the green stuff is a bunch of crap anyways. What it does offer is wood age with much character, that would take much time and a masterful eye to imitate.
The bed looks nice but I want that bedroom. Wow

This may not be absolutely the perfect place to comment on this, but might I remind folk present that lightweight Brit Piers Morgan is to take over from heavyweight American Larry King on his seemingly eternal chat show. Excuse me? How does anyone think that’s going to work? It’s an insult to intellectual America, in my opinion.
