Patagonia eco friendly sustainable apparel

Patagonia is the most eco friendly apparel manufacturer. They have a material they named Capilene which is made of recycled polyester. Patagonia has also set up a program where you can bring in their clothes when you get bored of the style and they will recycle it into new garments. They have recently added organic cotton t-shirts, Polartec fleece and Patagonia fleece to the list of recyclables.
Patagonia helps out a Land Trust in South America where they are trying to conserve habitat with endangered species. Patagonia has sent employees to help with conservation efforts by for example sending them for 3 weeks in the spring and summer to pull fences and help with invasive species…
Patagonia buildings are also going eco friendly. Their new buildings are LEED certified by the U.S. government as green designed and energy efficient. They go with water efficient landscaping, reduce construction waste, use materials with recycled content among many things. The company website has a wealth of information on their environmental initiatives…

@ Gadget Guru
The satisfaction that your clothes will not just be going to the landfill !
I don’t know if you can get store credit or actually trade in your old clothes. That would be a lifetime product then…
You get nothing from recycling old cell phones too, but you are doing good for the environment…
