This ornament is alive with live. It is an actual environment encased in a hand-blown glass. Inside are plants, live shrimp, algae and other microorganisms. The only requirements are sunlight. Make sure you open up right away if receiving in the mail.

What a beautiful idea. But it probably would not survive being sent to Europe.

I love maintaining such ornaments at home, it looks like they are very auspicious. One should be aware of the right method to maintain and taking a care of it.
