Vivavi contempory eco friendly furniture
Vivavi, established in 2003, sells stylish contemporary furniture online from Brooklyn, New York. As far as looks their fashion style tends to be very modern but functional. Their whole product line is eco friendly and obtained from pure and renewable, reclaimed and recycled, or resource and energy efficient materials.
Some of their products are made out of renewable materials that replenish quickly like bamboo. Their wood products are certified as sustainable harvested as well. And to the extent possible the products are made out of non-toxic materials.

Vivavi’s furniture tends to be on the expensive side so it must be from sustainable sources. Maybe in the future this won’t be because all furniture will be from sustainable sources!
Other stuff about Vivavi—
They have a good glossary about sustainable materials

These furniture pieces are mostly the favorite of the younger generation of furniture buyers. But that does not mean that the buyer base of modern furniture is limited to them. Younger generations on the other hand would definitely choose contemporary furniture over traditional ones.

I think the thing that turns people off eco furniture and generally eco products is the price tags, so many people would love to deck their whole houses out in eco products but simply do not have the budgets. I think something really has to change in that department so that we can all afford to save our planet and its resources.

What a unique, innovative and modern design of chairs . I love the color and shape. It has no sharp edges giving a smooth and comfy feeling to everyone who will sit or lie on them.

Evolve has designed a series of water-saving showerheads that run cold water until the temperature reaches 95 degrees and then stops the flow to a trickle. This way hot water doesn’t release until you actually step into the shower and turn the valve to release the flow.

Wow great looking furniture. I never understood why sustainable furniture has to be more expensive. Bamboo grows at a rate of 4 feet per day, It’s incredibly plentiful and sustainable, so why aren’t more pieces of furniture made out of it?
